> Photos from the June USA Tour part 1. (LA)<

Here's a gazillion photos from my last USA tour - most not taken by me... The first bunch here are from the last show on the tour - the Electric Daisy Carnival which was at some huge stadium in LA - probably the biggest show I've ever played at in the US actually. I was looking forward to going home after this, and have been reading the Motley Crue Biography so decided to be a drunken rockstar type and drink 2 bottles of champagne after my set. Luckily it didn't end in tears - just a bit of a hangover on the flight home... These photos were taken by the mighty Rukes from LA, there's loads more on his site here

Another heavy Weekend...

Had a couple of great gigs this weekend, played in Maripuel in Ukraine on Friday night, and St. Petersburg on Saturday at a big open air rave called Soundtropolis. I'm actually writing a new column for Knowledge Magazine this week about the whole schebang so won't go into too much detail here - but thought I'd check in on the blog while I'm here. Apologies for not keeping this too up to date lately - I've been annoyed at the layout problems and am trying to work it out - and have been VERY busy!

My Garden is finally finished now, my man Shaun Prince www.thegardenprince.co.uk did a great job - I'll take some decent photos if the sun ever shines here so you can check it out... I'm hoping to have some decent BBQs if it stops raining too...

Bought a new mountain bike last week too so have been trying to get out in the fresh air more and investigate new jogging routes - found a wikkid new spot all around the new flood relief canal thing they've made here in Bray - I think if you go the right way you can ride all the way up to windsor and Eaton. Although I need a more squishy seat before I go any further, that thing KILLS. :-(

SO yeah, Ukraine was ace - MISSION to get to though, I had to get up at 630 am and connect in Kiev to get there, and then go to do interviews for radio and TV, eat some crazy Ukranian food (which was yummy) - Ukrainian Borsch soup stuff, somethingn they called LARD which I think was basically Bacon fat that you eat with mustard and onion and raw garlic - again suprisingly nice... Both gigs were great - I'll upload the photos and a little video I took with my regular non video camera later today - i found a few from the russian gig at www.drumandbass.ru - no doubt there's be more later - there were a million cameras flashing at me the whole time...

Soudtropolis was a massive open air thing, was great to hang out with the other DJs, a really good eclectic mix I was glad to be involved in, Felix Da Housecat, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Future Prophecies, Black Sun Empire etc etc.

I've been reading a few Rock & Roll Autobiographies at the moment, just finished 'The Dirt" which is the Motley Crue one, and I'm almost done with the Marilyn Manson book - reading about all their debauchery and extreme antics on stage - I guess we're a lot more reserved - I arrived at the venue 2 mins before my set, grabbbed a Banana from backstage cos I hadn't eaten all day, and a bottle of the crappy cheap cava pretend champage they had and got up on stage - held the banana in teh air and the whole rave just blew up. I guess you don't need to shoot up heroin and puke up, or chain up groupies anymore. I go for the organic approach it would seem...
